About Quick Lime Powder
Quick lime powder is calcium oxide milled to a fine, free-flowing fraction. The greater surface area gives a faster, more complete reaction than lump lime, which makes it the right choice for dosing systems, flue gas treatment, and any process where reaction speed and consistency drive throughput.
Because ground lime is more sensitive to moisture pick-up than lump material, we pack it for the journey it has to make — sealed bags for bagged despatch, lined jumbo bags for bulk. Grind and packing are confirmed against your application at the time of quotation.
Indicative ex-works rate published by the company in 2024. Confirm current pricing at quotation. Prices are ex-works. GST @ 18% and transport charges are extra.

Packing, storage and transport
Lime degrades on contact with moisture and air. How it is packed and stored is a technical decision, not a cosmetic one.
Packing
- 10 kg bags
- 40 kg bags
- Jumbo bags
Recommended against transit distance and destination conditions.
Storage
- Store sealed, dry and under cover — fine lime absorbs moisture quickly.
- Protect from humidity; keep bags closed between draws.
- Rotate stock; use oldest consignments first.
Transport
- Bagged and jumbo bag despatch from Borunda, Jodhpur.
- Lined bags available where extended transit or humid conditions are expected.
- Containerised loading available for export consignments.
Safety
- Caustic and dust-generating. Reacts exothermically with water.
- Use dust masks, gloves and eye protection; control airborne dust at transfer points.
- Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before handling. [SDS — TO BE SUPPLIED BY COMPANY]

Ask on WhatsAppThe minimum order quantity for Quick Lime Powder is 42 tonnes. GST at 18% and transport are charged extra on the ex-works rate.
Quick Lime Powder is supplied in 10 kg and 40 kg bags and jumbo bags, with bulk options where your handling allows. Packing is recommended against the transit distance and destination conditions, because lime degrades on contact with moisture and air.
Yes. The size fraction and grade are agreed at the quotation stage and the consignment is screened or ground to match. Tell us the duty the material has to perform and we will recommend the fraction.
The specification parameters are listed on this page. The verified figures for each parameter are supplied by the company against your specific grade requirement — this site does not publish specification values that have not been confirmed by the plant.
Store dry, under cover and sealed until use, clear of the ground, and rotate stock so the oldest consignment is used first. Lime reacts with atmospheric moisture and carbon dioxide, which reduces available lime over time.
